We're thrilled to announce that our Foundation's Levon & Ana Afeyan Prize has once again been awarded to the exceptional young pianist, Anahit Stelmashova!
This year, the prize has played a pivotal role in supporting her incredible musical endeavours and aspirations. The funds from the prize have facilitated vital harmony lessons and allowed her to participate in several concerts in Armenia, Georgia and France. A few years back, this same prize enabled her family to purchase a baby grand piano for her to practice on. Today, Anahit spends most of her time in Tbilisi studying with top Georgian piano pedagogue, Nino Katamadze.
Anahit's dedication and talent shone brightly during her audition for the prestigious Schiermonnikoog Festival in Holland, and we're overjoyed to share that she has not only been accepted but will also have the invaluable opportunity to study under the guidance of the highly respected Avedis Kouyoumdjian. The Levon & Ana Afeyan Prize will cover all travel and participation expenses for this esteemed festival, further empowering Anahit to immerse herself in this incredible experience. Notably, Anahit has also received a well-deserved scholarship from the festival, a testament to her exceptional skills and promise.
Let's continue to applaud and support Anahit Stelmashova as she continues to grace the world with her extraordinary talent. Congratulations, Anahit, on these remarkable achievements—we're incredibly proud of you!
